Super Service!
The 'old' thermostat worked, but the backlight had quit and a MALF (malfunction code was always present) I had checked with White-Rodgers techs and told the furnace was at fault... Not convinced,decided to try an identical replacement and fortunately found this website and ordered online on a Sunday afternoon. Watched the tracking from shipping- UPS did not receive the package until Monday late PM, at Long Island, NY, I live in northern Michigan- it was delivered to my door Wednesday afternoon and I had it installed by 4PM! Problem corrected!! I couldn't be happier- the price was right, and total replacement cost about 1/3 of what a service call would have been, and who knows what the 'repair parts' would have been...possibly even more than a thermostat! This is my first time using SupplyHouse.com and couldn't be more satisfied.

Wanted to upgrade to digital from my old discontinued analog dual mercury bulb 1F58-72 thermostat. This one was a suggested alternative on this site. My old thermo has both 0 and B terminals and both are utilized in my system wiring. This one only has an O/B terminal with a switch to select O or B. Not compatible wiring wise and had to return at my cost. My rating only reflects the fact that this was the only suggested replacement for a 1F58-72 with this Company and won't work as a suggested compatible replacement.

I'm sorry that this suggested alternative did not work. I'm also sorry that it was not more clear that this thermostat is not a direct replacement. Suggested alternative means that this would be our closest suggestion to replacing your old 1F58-72, although it may not be a complete direct swap. We would strongly advise that anyone interested in purchasing a suggested replacement, please review the product specifications and review any literature we have included in the manual section for further clarification on whether or not the part will work for your situation.

I would buy again
We have had this thermostat on our furnace for over 15 years. It started to act up when a battery went bad. We live in the north and wanted to make sure we had backup. Supply house delivered new one quickly. That way we have a new one in hand.

Q: just moved into apartment and it has this thermostat my question is what does the emer. on the lower side of the unit do ? hope I dont sound stupid but to me it means emergency Clears this for me..Thank You Edward Ammeraal Sr
