manufacturer clearly named on box
Watch out for source of HSIs. I bought a IGN00117 that was supposed to replace IGN00145, IGN00104 & IGN00117 the manufacturer's labeling looked good except one detail was omitted the manufacturer. Long story short the ignitor lasted two weeks then opened up (high resistance). These HSI look good and at least the name of the manufacturer is listed on the package.

First fits as original. Now there is a but. The original ignitor lasted 15 years. The replacements, and I've gone through a lot of them, well I go through about two a season. Their easy to replace so I keep spares around. Cheaper to keep spares then to be without heat until another one arrives or pay out the butt for a service call and still be without heat. I've gotten good at changing them out can do it in about 5 minuets or less.

I will buy this ignitor again, cause I'll have to! For some reason the ignitor only last one season. SupplyHouse is great, they get me the part in 1-2 days no problem there. I always need to keep an extra on hand.

Good replacement igniter
My XR80 Trane stopped heating. Indicator lights led me to defective igniter. Multimeter showed it had open ckt. Ordered replacement and had it in and working 2 days later. Easy to order and fast shipping. Will definitely buy from SupplyHouse again.

Q: I have a American standard freedom 80, model # AUD120C945J1, furnace with this same looking silicon nitrade ignitor. (White Rodgers 768A-845). This model is designed for 80 volt systems. I believe my system is a 120 volt ignitor setup but can seem to find a similar 120 volt ignitor. Can you help? I am currently burning through the 768A-845 model while I try to locate a 120 volt version. Thank you. Ken
