Cured the Grinding Sound on the Original Unit

Installation was a snap. This part has screw terminals while my original unit had push-in connectors. And the numbering of the terminals was slightly different. It worked intermittently after hooking up because a wire nut on the low voltage wires was loose. Once I found it, everything was good. If replacing an earlier unit, follow the numbers and if it does not work, the problem is elsewhere in your wiring. My old unit has had a grinding sound for 12 years, and I did not realize it was abnormal. So nice to be rid of it.

Not impressed

I have been dealing with this valve for 4 years and I'm not impressed with their reliability. It worked perfect for about 3 days and then sometimes it will not open and sometimes it will not close and other times hat it works fine. Definetly not the reliability I would expect from such an expensive valve. I will be reducing the size of pipe this summer and installing a solenoid valve, that is how unhappy I am with this product. This isn't the fault of Supplyhouse I believe that this valve just sucks!

SupplyHouse delivered product fast and efficiently.

Replaced original valve motor head with failed warp switch. Seems very old technology but guess lasted a few decades so basic and low tech will suffice.

White Rogers 2 wire zone valves are great!!!

I love this valve, it's motor open and close with a full flow body, get's rid of water hammer noise in baseboard multi zone systems and has excellent flow through the valve. Had some issues with aux. switches not working correctly recently , I returned those for credit with out any hassles from SupplyHouse.com , Wiring has always been an issue, finally found that easy wire diagram on the product info.

I hope not to ever buy this product again

But if I do have to buy a WR zone valve Supply House would be my provider of choice.

Good Durable Valve

I have a 4 zone system installed in the 60's. Originally a 2 valve system. I have replaced the 2 original valve motor assemblies and used the "o" ring repair kit to rebuild 1 of the original valves. After 50 plus years of service, I think this is a very reliable and durable valve assembly.

No, this would not be the correct assembly. For model 1311-103 the correct motor assembly is sku F19-0097.

Q: When I turn on my gas heater , the water valve F19-0104 leaks water. Its just drips periodically. Do I need to replace this immediately? Or acn this wait? Thank You

You should always repair any leaky unit.

Was this review helpful to you?
- None

It is the seal between the valve and the operator. I would wait until summer if the leak is not too bad. Make sure you use the correct lubrication on the new seal. Wrong lubrication will cause the seal to deteriorate prematurely. Maybe that is what happened to this seal.
