Nice retrofit improvement

Helped me address problems with restricted flow due to poor configuration of water supply where it came into the house during renovation. I mostly left the valved copper lines in place where they went off to various parts of the house and used pex couplings on individual runs off the manifold to bypass a network of copper tees and elbows that had been there for distribution.

uponor can do better!!

I have been changing out all of the old galvanized water piping in my house with uponor products. These are the only fittings I have had any trouble with. My first manifold failed at the inlet. Immediately developed a leak. Re -did the joint and got the same result. Ordered a new manifold, and initially one of the outlets leaked, but a day later the leak stopped. All of my other joints have been free of problems. In general all of the other fittings and pipes have been great. So much easier than metal tubing. Uponor can do better with the plastic fittings.

Expensive but saves connections

Expense is the only draw back. The thru ports are more expensive , no reasonable reason why. No problems

Good product

Was just what I needed when setting up the my branches. My only suggestion would be to add barbs like other fittings and min folds have so that you can tell the pex and ring are correctly seated. I didn't have any issues or leaks but I was concerned about those while doing the job.

I would buy again and have.

Fitting works with Propex system. I used it to redo plumbing in old house. It works like it is intended to. I have been able to reuse the fittings if I make a mistake or have to change the plumbing routing. You just have to be careful when cutting off the expander ring to not nick the sealing ring on the fitting. Use a sharp razor blade.

Q: So can I use this as a manifold and utilize the flow through end as an additional outlet? I need to run (4) 1/2" lines to sinks and (1) 3/4" line to the shower. Is the flow through end 3/4"? Thanks
