The freezeless Model 22 hot and cold faucet is designed and intended for year-round hot and cold irrigation and cleaning purposes regardless of outside temperature. Separate hot and cold inlet tubes allow for manually operated temperature control with cross contamination protection. This faucet contains patented pressure relief valves that prevents the faucet from bursting in freezing weather should a hose be accidentally left on. The Model 22 contains an integral backflow protection device and does not require and add-on vacuum breaker.

Great outdoor hot/cold faucet; love the vertical install!
We actually installed this faucet into the side of an existing cabinet that already had an outdoor hot/cold sink, so we could keep a hot hose attached for an outdoor shower. I have to say it has worked GREAT! No issues with leaks, etc. Temp stays consistent once adjusted. Husband was able to install relatively easily with no issues. Faucet seems very sturdy and well-built. Only 2 things I would change if I could: not have the red/blue spigot markers be plastic (would have preferred metal), and reduce the lead level so water could be potable. But overall, still a winner!

I was a little dissapointed in the performance
While this is a very high quality item, I found that in order to have even warm water I have to turn the hot on all the way and can only turn the cold on one-eighth turn. I have another brand of outdoor mixing faucet on the other side of the house and it is the exact opposite.

Great quality and features
Great build quality and features. The knobs operate very smoothly. The built in backflow prevention and vacuum breaker are a great touch. I would have liked if it had included some stainless screws for mounting and had more than just the 2 screw holes.
