New switch didn't fix the problem,the recommendation i got was to change the arm.
this product was so simple to change, I couldn't believe it.

This is the weak point
This float arm is the weal point of a zoeller pump They last 5 to 7 years and then the rubber seal dries out and lets water into the switch housing ruining the switch. So you have to go for a switch and a new float arm. This gets costly but the Zoeller pump is expensive so it's better to pay the price and put the pump back together again because the Zoeller pump is still good for many more years

Use a 1/2 inch pipe nipple 4 inches long to secure arm
Forgot to mention on my quick tip. Use a 1/2 inch nipple 4 inches long to set arm assembly in place using a hammer

Replaced arm and seal assembly easiuly
I replaced the switch first to realize the arm was sticking. Replaced it in a few minutes. Quick tip: when installing the arm and after you applied the sealant, secure it in place using a 4 inch pipe nipple to seat the assembly tapping it with a hammer. Works perfectly now. Great price
