Used this to maintain water at a higher level in the sump pit to reduce pump cycling and it did the trick. The float is quality material and has consistent action. The 240V molded plug interface was what was the biggest priority since I didn't want to modify the plug or get yet another adapter. It piggybacks from the side, making a cleaner look on install and less stress on the overall connection. Plenty of cord provided to permit mounting as you like in the pit for function and routing wire for aesthetics.
