Yes

Mounted it on the wall touching the floor next to the hot water tank. It's up stairs in a closet behind a panel. I needed along extention so the alarm would sound where I could hear it. It worked out perfect. I had one before lasted 25yrs.

First time user

The only issue is that you don't carry the adapter necessary to operate the alarm on 110 volts, which is the preferred method when using it an attic or other remote installation where being dependent on batteries is basically a non-starter.

This alarm works fine but it is not loud enough

Seems like a nice little product I tested it. And it works quickly but the alarm is not loud enough you can barely hear it upstairs with it in the basement. The customer did not want it. It would be okay if you're using it on a one-level home it is not nearly as loud as a smoke alarm

Flood alert works well

This flood alert works exactly as intended. My only issue with this product is the alarm is not anywhere near loud enough. I would think most purchasers would be using this in the basement, there's no way you could hear the alarm one to two floors above it. I bought this alarm to use with a sump pump and when water splashed onto the flood alert it activated the alarm. Since I couldn't hear the alarm until I happened to be headed to the basement it would not have helped if there was an actual flood. I gave it 4 stars because it works well, it would be perfect if the alarm was louder. I would recommend this product only if consumers are aware of the item's limitations.

Nifty, good quality

Using as sump pump high level alarm. Reasonable price and much better quality than glentronics' watchdog alarm. Would be great if alert could be texted or emailed!

The Aquanot Flood Alert

I put a water collection pan under a water heater. I connected this pan to a drain line. As extra security I installed a Aquanot Flood Alert. I thought it was cheap insurance against water heater related water damage...

Aquanot Flood Alert Is On Duty.

I installed this alarm in my water heater closet. The water sensor is located in the water collection pan under the water heater. If the water heater starts to leak I will know about it. This little thing screams loud when activated. Seems like cheap protection/warning to me.

Q: I had a guy install a Zoeller M53 under my house with an alarm system. Is there a way to extend the wiring on the alarm? It's not long enough for me right now to put in the house where I want it to be. I would like to use the alarm that he provided but have a longer wire or extension. Thank you, Eric Sachs

You could simply cut and splice a length of wire in and the alarm should function as expected. The alarm works by simply closing the circuit so I see no reason that will not work out well for you.

It did happened to me before. All I have to do is turn the unit off , let it resets  by itself for about  one day and try to turn on the switch again.I hope this trick will work for you.
