For clear water, emergency backup usage when power is off or the primary pump(s) fail.
Features:
- Provides extra protection when the primary AC pump fails due to power outages in storms, brownouts, wiring or electrical problems, when the primary pump fails due to damage, mechanical malfunction or obstructions in the pit, or when the primary pump fails to keep up with excessive water due to rain or overloading
- 12 volt, highly efficient with noncorrosive pump construction (supplied with 6' leads)
- All models have battery burn out and overcharge
- Model 507 has a self contained 10 amp battery recharger
- All systems are fully solid state automatic controllers with alarms, light indicators and have warning systems

- Battery Case - the included battery case will accommodate maximum battery dimensions of 13"L x 7-1/2"W x 9-1/2"H and fits all group size 27 marine batteries. It is made from noncorrosive polyethylene and contains a lock strap.
- Fittings - furnished with all required fittings. Model 507 has an internal check valve in the discharge and includes an additional heavy duty check valve adaptable to 1-1/4" or 1-1/2" pipe.
- Warranty Information - 12 months from date of installation or 18 months from date of manufacture.

Installed nicely to fit in my ~14" inner diameter sump. Filled the pit to trigger the pump, and it is working well. The rubber coupling is suggested so that the pump can be easily removed for any sort of maintenance.

I brought a brand new house 1 1/2 years ago. This pump was installed along with a sump pump. I have a 36" deep pit that is 30" in diameter so it hold a lot of water. We recently had on and off rain for 2 days, heavy at times. I checked the pit the water level was about 10" from the top. We didn't have a power outage but our pump didn't kick in, nor did the battery backup pump. I removed the pit cover and pump out water with a submerge pump and ordered a new system. After pulling out the old pump the contractor installed a check valve in the wrong direction, even though the battery pump has a built in check valve. Pump was burnt out, I never got the chance to see if the battery backup pump worked? It also looked kind of small.

Piece of mind during wet weather.
I purchased two of these, I have two sumps. Easy to install, about two hours a piece. Performed perfectly during power failure test. Well constructed pumps, electronics are easy to set up, good display and monitoring.

So Far, So Good. I would buy from Supply House again.
I have powered the Zoeller 507 backup and have been powering the charger and battery for over a week. All seems well, so far. The pump and float get installed next week. We'll see how that part of the installation goes.

Piece of mind
First shipment I received from Supplyhouse.com had to be returned....it was an open returned item that was missing a part and the box was all ripped. The second shipment was brand new and was complete. I installed this along with a Zoeller M53 Sump Pump. Both work very well and installation was pretty easy. I tested both pumps separately and they work flawlessly. One tip is to try to put the backup pump as low as possible (but 1" above the T connection). I now have peace of mind knowing I am protected by a new primary and backup sump pump that will last for many years to come. Zoeller is an excellent product and is known for their reliability, and I would definitely buy this again!

Good system
From reading previous reviews, I purchased a full size check valve(valve looked small & flimsy) and PVC coupler attached to the tee(allowing me to remove pump). However, with a full size check valve, it raises the pump considerably and your float switch ends up above your well cover. I installed a 90 degree elbow on the coupler & extended pvc pipe to lower the backup pump closer to sump pump allowing me to lower the bracket for the float valve. I used Zoeller quiet valve(clear plastic) since I could glue it(no rubber hoses)and it is very quiet, but very tight clearance to the float on my Zoeller sump pump.
