packaging was not adequate
The pump weighs about 30 lb. During shipping, it got banged around. In fact, there were oil stains on the cardboard box from leakage. The replacement pump only had cushioning on two sides (and none beneath the pump box). With the pump laying on its side during shipping and no cushioning underneath, the box for the replacement may have been dropped. The manufacturers box was split open in 2 areas.
The second replacement was packaged much better with sufficient cushioning. To their credit, Supplyhouse replaced the two pumps that were damaged in transit and did a good job packaging the third so that it arrived safely. Thanks.

I only got two years out of it!
I live on a lake and my sump pumps run continuously up to 50% of the time. I only got two years use out of it under these circumstances. Probably less because i built a triple sump pump system with a primary a secondary and a battery backup. I occasionally would switch which pump was primary or secondary so this pump only lasted perhaps 15 months running half the time.

Zoeller N57 Non-Automatic Pump comments
Have used Zoeller pumps for the house sump and ejector applications. I've had this particular model in my home for a number of years and this purchase was for my daughters house. I've migrated to non-automatic pumps in combination with electronic water level sensors. I've found this combination more reliable than pumps with traditional float assemblies, as typically the float is always the issue.

The pump built like a tank
The water table rises into my basement when it rains hard and long. This taxes a sump pump most severely. I teamed the non automatic pump with a Levelguard switch because it seems the switch is the most common point of failure. Water table has been down since I installed the pump but I am very hopeful that this combination will work long and reliability.

Q: No clog pump? Pumping it out to main tank at campground? Maybe 100 gallon tank. Will this pump work ok with my small septic tank under rv, with min debris, sewage, light leaves?
