- Simple installation
- Adjustable/variable level
- Standard 15' and 20' SJOW CPE cord with molded plug
- Float constructed of durable PVC/polypropylene encasing variable level switch
- Standard normally open (NO) 'pumps down'
- Optional normally closed available (NC) 'pumps up', consult factory
- Maximum operating temperature for 10-0748 is 120°F (49°C), all other switches 140°F (60°C)
- Float is omnidirectional (no 'up' side)
- Includes mounting clamp
- Designed for effluent, sewage and dewatering applications
- Variable level float switch, for use in 18" minimum diameter basins
- 10-0748, 25' cord standard, no molded plug, can be used as a control switch to operate an external magnetic or combination starter on three phase pumps
- Vertical piggyback float switch, ideal for narrow diameter basins - 6-1/2" maximum cycle range
- Use recommendation chart for switch selection
- Does not contain mercury

Extremeely competetively priced float swicth
My local spupplier sells a similar brand NO float switch for 3 times the price that supplyhouse sells them.

Septic System Woes
I am not a septic system service guy, just a home owner whose septic alarm went off. Since I had already scheduled a pump-out of one of the tanks I waited a day or too to get the septic system guy's opinion. The pump-out was nearly $600 so when he gave me an estimate of over 800 dollars US to "change out all the switches" I hesitated. My wife said, "Just pay the man and have him do it!." My daughter echoed the advice. I said, "How hard can it be?". SupplyHouse.com to the rescue! Great service, Fast delivery, and the float switch ls identical to the original equipment. Will I buy another one? I really hope not, but, if I have to, it will certainly be from SupplyHouse.com which is my new go-to source for plumbing stuff! Oh, it really wasn't that hard to change out the switch but, if I had to do it for someone else, I would charge over 800 bucks too.

Piggy back float switch
Not sure if this float switch is the best or not. It has got stuck in the open position a few times. I just jiggled it with a stick to get it going again. Make sure you have a working overflow alarm float switch.

This is a great product - I would buy again
The length of the 15' cord fits the location perfectly and it was an exact replacement of the original item. Installation was very straightforward. Supply house was fantastic - item arrived when promised in 2 days without any excessive shipping cost.
