The PC3F in-line , wet rotor circulator with universal flange is designed for applications in closed loop hydronic heating and cooling systems, as well as in solar powered systems. The pump is non-submersible and for use in dry, frost free, well ventilated installations.

Seems to work just fine.
Seems to feed a small radiant loop using 1/2" pex-al-pex well on speed 1 using 32w. For the price you can't beat the 5yr warranty. Motor housing does seem to get warmer than my old Taco 007's though. I did just score a deal on 3 Taco bumblebees so one of those will replace this and drive the loop near constantly with lower power hopefully. Then I'll use this pump to drive my indirect water heater. Speed 2 should do that with ease and still use less power than a 007!

I use this as a pump for my wood boiler system I've used this exact brand and model of pump for the last 5 years. The one I ordered from this company came with the electrical housing broken. When I installed it the pump made a terrible noise for about 30 seconds and then smoothed out I got it December 3rd and installed it it's now December 20th and it isn't pumping at all. I'm going to have to buy another one.

Fail after one heading season. Four times.
I've purchased 2 from supply house and one elsewhere. Each one fails after one heating season. That in addition to the original that failed.. Getting expensive. Something is very wrong with this unit. Until I find a better option, I'm a returning customer.

Horrible design and electric connections
Takes 1 hour to try and fish the wire through just awful design. Please stick with B&G taco or grunfos

Good pump
This is the second of these pumps I have purchased, the first one I let run dry and ruined it. Both have performed well to pump water from a wood heater into my house to a heat exchanger, just remember to unplug it when you drain the system. The item was shipped promptly and arrived in good order.

Great pump for the cost.
Pump works better than i expected for my application.
Pump circulates water between my pool and a wood stove when i am not running the pool filter.
3 speeds is useful in that i do not have to use valves to restrict the flow.

Failed after 5 year
Failed after 5 years. Not sure if that's a reasonable life for a pump in this class but if you install, make sure you install isolation valves before and after to assist replacement.

Nice Pump
I've switched over to this brand from Taco over the last year due to some quality issues. Great replacement pump and the three speeds enable you to match it to a specific application. The universal flange is excellent. Again for positioning on specific applications. Excellent appearance and workmanship. Only slight negative I see is that you must run a separate ground wire due to the composite housing. (No ground through BX) Speed 2 has a higher head rating than a 007. Speed 3 is higher than an 015. Have also used this pump on radiant loops. Speed 2 works perfectly in this situation.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffThe maximum ambient temperature for this pump is 104 degrees F. The maximum fluid temperature for this pump is 230 degrees F, or 200 degrees F with the optional check valve installed.

I have two boilers running with the 15gpm aquapumps and they work perfectly fine with a water temperature of 180 degrees and a 10 percent low limit differential (ie. 180-170 degrees)...
