I've had this Boiler since last fall and it's been working great. One thing to know on this unit is they want you to use 1" pipe on the boiler loop yet it comes with 3/4" pipe coming off the boiler. Seems like overkill on the 1" loop. So this made installation a bit more with the plumber I hired to install it. If I had to do it over again I might have gone with the next model down that only needs 3/4" pipe on the loop from the boiler to the system.

But it's quiet and heats up our 3000 ft. 100 year old house with 100 year old leaky windows with no problem. It was below zero when we got this boiler going and it had no problem heating up this house. Our gas bill has gone down in half with this new boiler and we keep the house warmer than last winter.

I've purchased this with my condo in 2001 and I've had problems with it every single year since. Just this month it stopped working twice! I had not heat or hot water for three days and this morning my hot water started running again, out of the blue.

        This boiler is a nightmare!

This unit replaced an older Weil McLane boiler. PexSupply was fabulous with the way they handled the order and quickly shipped. I would not hesitate using this company again.

We bought a Weil McLain heating boiler from Pex. We had one previously that we liked. Pex gave great service and a great price. We ordered on Sunday and the boiler was delivered on the next Friday. Could not be happier with this purchase--quality merchandise from a great dealer.

Replace an old hot stack Weil Mclain boiler with this unit and added domestic hot water. I am saving 30-35 % on my gas bills. The unit is very quiet and completely dependable. It has required only annual burner cleaning and one ignitor replacement in 4 years of continuous operation.

I upgraded from a Weil Mclain Gold Oil burner to the Ultra 155 Propane unit. Install went perfectly, very good instructions. This unit looks impressive on the inside, very well built and I am looking for many years of trouble free operation, lastly, started right up and is running perfectly.

We swapped out an old Weil Mclain Gold oil burning boiler for this propane one. Had help from some HVAC-experienced relatives, but did most of the setup ourselves (as non-experts). The instructions and examples for installation that came with the boiler was very detailed and helpful. We were able to adapt the wiring from our 20 year old "brainless" boiler to the new computer interfaced unit easily, and there are tons of settings for different systems, including the ability to power various circulators at calls for heat from different inputs (zone valves). The unit was easy to change to propane with the included orifice kit. The small annoyances included having to adapt the boiler output to the included circulator pump and having the pressure relief valve located at the top of the boiler (on the old, it was off to the side near the bottom, so it wouldn't spray all over, we need to put in an additional pipe to direct overflow down) but these are very minor. The unit is very quiet, you can only hear the circulator even when the boiler is firing. Time will tell with reliability, but the system interface is easy to navigate and find diagnostic information, like input signals (calls for heat), output signals (circulator pump activation), and system temperatures. Looking forward to seeing how the high-efficiency modulation works out.

After reading the comments section of this product, I was convienced this product was the one I wanted. After receiving delivery, I set the boiler up in my basement. I purchased the easy up kit. If there is enough head space, buy the kit. It made the installation much easler. The overall appearance of the installation is great. I was very impressed with the start up. We have not tested the boiler's ability to heat the house under extreme cold weather yet, but if it performs as well as the start up, I will be very satisfied. The supply lines were hot within three minutes of startup.

At warmer outdoor temperatures it fires a a lower rate to burn longer and more efficiently. Domestic priority is for homes that have their domestic hot water on a tank off the boiler. If there is high demand for both heat and high demand for hot water, the hot water zone gets the heat first.

Outdoor reset technology allows the boiler to save energy by producing lower water temperatures when outdoor temperatures are warmer. Priority refers to its capability to have a zone for an indirect water heater that takes precedence over all the space heating zones.
