Supply House Rocks !!!!

A disabled neighbor asked me to look at his gas log fireplace because it was not working correctly. I checked the basics like wire connections etc. I called a local Heating Cooling company to look at it and the technician they sent told us that the gas valve was sticking and that it would not be cost effective to replace it, stating that it would be just as costly as to replace the whole furnace. I checked the prices of furnaces and as suspected, they were in the hundreds to thousands of dollar range. I did a little research on line and found Supply House. I called them with the part number and the technician I spoke to was very courteous and helpful. He found a cross match item that he assured me would work. I ordered it for my neighbor and within a week the part was here. I switched the gas valves out and the furnace works perfectly now. Instead of thousands, the cost of the valve was about $83.00 with shipping and taxes. Thanks Supply House. You ROCK !!!!

I will never buy this regulator again.

It seems to be poorly made. I have bought two of them, and both of them have given me trouble, where they get stuck closed.

Was not an exact cross for my original

I had to change parts from the old valve to make it work . Pre sales support assured us it was exact match. Manufacturers tech support said no there is a different replacement part

Exactly what my fireplace needed...thank you.

The Robertshaw control replaced a flawed system made in China and used in my fireplace by a flawed manufacturer - Travis - whose service was less than useless. My new fireplace - redesigned by myself - works great with the new valve.

This product saved my 1992 Hearthstone Gas Fireplace stove

Used to replace an old Robertshaw valve for 1992 Hearthstone Gas Fireplace stove. After a 3 hour installation by an experienced professional it works great. The only problem is that the pilot flame burns too high and cannot adjust down with the pilot adjustment screw...it is already turned clockwise as much as possible. I would greatly appreciate any help/suggestions for this problem.

This part saved our gas fireplace stove!!

Used this Robertshaw Valve to replace our 1992 one, model # 711-701-401. Your company said it was a direct replacement and it worked!! After 3 hours of patience and skill our beloved Hearthstone Sterling Gas fireplace stove is once again operational! Saved us thousands of dollars if we had to replace. Can't thank you enough!

Hi Steve. The replacement depends on the size of the valve you need. If 3/8", the replacement is SKU: 710-509. If 1/2", the replacement is SKU: 710-501 with SKU: 1751-013

Yes the 711-811-413 7000 MVRLC is directly replaced by the 710-502. For propane gas you would also need the gas regulator SKU: 1751-013

Q: I need to replace the gas valve in my old Superior gas log fireplace. The original gas valve is a Robertshaw 093771, the proper replacement is apparently Robertshaw 710-502. My log set runs on propane - is this new valve set for propane out of the box? Or is a conversion kit required, and where do I get one and how do I install it? Thanks.

Part 1751-013 is the LP conversion kit for the 710-502 gas valve. It does not come with the valve and must be purchased separately.

- Pete

The SKU 710-502 is the correct part. It has 3 different outlet ports and you use the one you need. The other two get a metal plug. The plug on the bottom caused the valve to be a little thicker and it took some minor alteration to the install for my log set. There have been no problems since the install.
