–
Used at the point of entry, Aqua-Pure standard whole house filters reduce sediment, rust, precipitated scale, iron and minerals from all water using appliances and plumbing fixtures throughout the home. Choose from several replacement cartridges for a custom filter application.
Cartridges must be purchased separately (not included) for AP802B model. See below. See spec. box for quantity required.

Install AP801T
The unit itself is rather durable, solid cartridge housing and filter head. Installation with mounting bracket and hardware included was rather smooth.
Issues: 1. The head is plastic so you do not want to overtighten when threading in the fittings which resulted in a minor leak. 2. Depending on the location of the unit the water feed line connection positions the relief valve towards the rear of the unit. These minor issues would not stop me from purchasing another unit, very happy with this product.
