Fixed my problem
Older power vent (state select) HWH, had a few issues like the hose from the motor was kinked inside where I couldn't see it (solution: ran a new air hose outside the tank)...that worked for a while, but the real problem apparently was the old ignitor/flame sensor. Polishing up the old one kept it alive for a few weeks, but this new one, is a new and improved model over the old one. It has that lovely black shielding around the wires, which the original did not. Went in easy peasy lemon sqeezy.....now...no more intermittent failures to light. Dreamy. Once again, I'm taking epic showers. Tip: Do Not Touch the ignitor surface whilst you install this baby. It may (or may not) be the new style, made with some new age material that's not sensitive to the body oils....but why take the chance that oil from your fingers will cause it to get hairline cracks? Don't touch it. (OK to touch the sensor, just not the flat ignitor part of the unit)

Igniter Frustration
I have gone through 4 of these in the 7 years since I built my house. Very poor design! I'm very frustrated with this as I live where it gets cold and to come home to cold water is not good. Pex Supply was awesome in getting me the part timely at a good price so the review is good for them, however, the quality of the product is terrible.

Right part and easy install
My water heater stopped working, and I was able to figure out that it was the igniter that had worn out. I was able to get the part number from the manufacturer. SupplyHouse had the part in stock and got it to me quickly. With some help from a YouTube video I was able to put in the new part. I went slowly and carefully (I'm not a plumber and I was dealing with gas and flame!) and it took me about 30 minutes. The water heater has worked perfectly since.

Igniter assembly
I called and talked to a technician at Supplyhouse.com to verify that I was ordering the correct item. He looked up the part number for the igniter assembly. I then ordered it, and promptly came when they said it would. I installed it. It worked fine, and now I have a working hot water heater again. Very pleased with their helpfulness and service.
