Exactly what I needed
When I called SupplyHouse, I thought I knew the part number I needed. The very helpful person at SupplyHouse double checked and told me I actually had the wrong part. She ordered the right part, and it shipped the next day as promised. Delivery got delayed, but the problem happened on UPS's end - no fault of SupplyHouse. I found a place locally that had them, but the same part was going to cost almost $50 more, so I waited for UPS to bring this one. It was exactly what we needed, we have hot water again, and I've saved SupplyHouse.com in my favorites. If I need anything like this again, I'm checking here first!

Very disappointed
This igniter/sensor unit is the part listed for my make and model water heater, but it would not install without grinding and drilling on the burner plate and the part mounts. It looks like the part was intended to fit, but was ineptly designed without allowances for material thicknesses of bracket assemblies.

Excellent service
Ordered part from a cheaper supplier and after a week and a half no part. And no hot water. Ordered from supply house and had the part in couple days and installed. Should of gone through supply house first.

Perfect replacement for our 2009 gas water heater!
We thought we had to replace our water heater ($4,000 to $8,000 estimates) when we couldn't find the obsolete parts. After finding this part by serial number and identifying by picture only, it works like a champ! Starts each time on the first try. The old flame sensor had been cleaned and was beyond cleaning. Supplyhouse saved our family a fortune. This replaced the worn parts on an AO Smith, 50 gallon, 50K btu, natural gas, tall water heater with a power vent on top. AO Smith was unable to even supply a parts number because of the age of the unit. Thank you!

hot surface ignition
son and his family moved into a different house. shortly thereafter, the A.O. Smith hot water heater started working sporadically. did some research, and bought this ignitor. simple to install, very good price. works great now.
