Excellent choice, commercial quality
Solar water heating project. Used as solar water hot water storage tank. Installed in 2001. Works well last 20 years. Expect to get another 20 years of service. Make sure replacing magnesium anode as required. It may be every 2 or 3 years. Remove, inspect. If more then 50% material gone, replace it. You also may need flush it same time and once every 10 years place vinegar to get rid of stubborn calcium deposits.

I will chose a different brand next time...
I bought 3 of these tanks just under a year ago. One of the tanks leaked and had to be returned for a replacement. Another tank sprung a leak about a month ago and had to be replaced under warranty. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the service department did a good job of taking care of the warranty issues.
