A dishwasher and RO air gap provides safe drainage of the discharge water into the garbage disposal unit. The plumbing code requires the dishwasher and RO air gap in most states. Using a dishwasher and RO system without an air gap is not recommended.
The AG200-005's maximum flow rate is 11 gallons per minute (GPM). The maximum flow rate of the 1/4" port for the reverse osmosis (RO) filter is 1 GPM. The maximum flow rate through this air gap is the highest flow rate above which the air gap will overflow. At maximum flow rate, the air gap is dry on the outside.
The AMERIGAP brand dual air gap provides two inlet ports for simultaneous drainage of discharge water from a single dishwasher and a reverse osmosis filter. The combination of two air gaps in one provides an easy way to connect the RO system into the drainage system safely.
This air gap is easy to install, easy to use, and easy to maintain. The AG200-005 air gap is UPC and IPC listed.

Great way to combine the RO air gap
Simple way to add the air gap for an RO system. My drain pipe did not have a place to drill the typical RO drain line into. This product solves the issue and simplifies the connections under the sink.
