The E-Flex Guard is an Insulation Protector for Refrigeration Piping on Outdoor applications that complies with mandatory requirements where adhesive tapes are no longer allowed by code, and as specifically prescribed by the new Building/Residential/Energy Codes. Engineered PVC Material is UV/Weather Resistant and a Class II Vapor Retarder to comply with new energy codes, and sustainably protects outdoor pipe insulation.

Just a bit pricey, but worth protecting your HVAC line sets.
I installed the product easily on our lines from the outside condenser to the pvc covers attached to the wall units. The E-Flex waterproof and UV protection keeps the insulation foam and line sets from weather & sun damage. No more deterioration of refrigerant lines and no more degradation of hvac performance!
