The Amtrol Mixing Valve is constructed with a temperature adjusting handle for quick and easy alteration of mixed water temperature. A turn of the handle adjusts the temperature over a range from about 110F to 170F. A Position that prevents scaling water from arriving at the outlet fixture is most desirable - approximately 120F is satisfactory for most hot water uses other than dish washing and laundry machines.

good for one year
I cant say this is a great product this is the third time I have bought one in three years. I am mixing water that is 150 degrees max I can say the case holds up well but you cant but just the cartridge so I have a few extra new cases that I will never have a use for. But another product for mixing your hot water this one doesn't cut it NOT RECOMMENDED.
