–
The Aprilaire Model 360 Humidifier is designed specifically for homes with radiators or baseboard heating systems. The Model 360 is a through-the-wall humidifier and can be placed in a central location of the home in a closet or laundry room where electricity, water and a drain are available.
Humidified air is distributed through a grille on the humidifier, into a hallway where the vapor will migrate throughout the home.

Great alternative if you have no ductwork.
I personally like Aprilaire product line and have this unit in my house. Mounted it in the laundry closet wall; the unit is little bit louder than I anticipated.

Did an awesome job
We installed this on the second floor of a 5000 sq ft home. Our relative humidity was low 20s beforehand and we have been able to maintain 35 to 45% since throughout the house. At 65F we are super comfortable. We live between NYC and PHILADELPHIA.

Not sure about this
Not happy that this type of humidifier wastes 75% of the water. That is a lot of wasted water every day! It wasn't too difficult for our contractor to install, but just wasn't exactly what we had hoped for. Aprilaire recommended the steam humidifier to avoid waste but it's pricey and requires a dedicated 220v. We will stick with this.

great unit at a good price
mounted this under an enclosed stairway in my living room. Easy to install since I could go right down thru the floor for electric, water and drain. very quiet works well in a 2600 sq ft home.
