The Aqua-Pure AP801-C is a whole house system used at the point of entry to reduce sediment, rust, precipitated scale, iron and minerals from all water using appliances and plumbing fixtures throughout the home. Choose from several replacement cartridges for a custom filter application. Install on cold water lines only.

nice unit
I was really impressed with massive size of this unit. This isn't like the cheap plastic 10" cartridge ones. The 1" in/out provides huge GPM. The holes on the top for the bracket could have been sized smaller but not a big deal.

My 3rd aqua pure AP801 C
I have well water with rust problem staining every thing the water touches but no more with Aqua-Pure AP801-C, 800 Series Heavy Duty Whole House Water Filter, Complete Series (for Multiple Bathroom Homes
so I bought 2 more for my Bed & Breakfast business .No more stain in kitchen or bath room

Exactly what I was looking for
I considered several different filters before choosing this one. I wanted a heavy duty filter that could be mounted securely. I was impressed with the heavy steel bracket that came with this filter. The overall filter quality is very good and it is heavy duty. The filter bracket came with 4 lag style screws that fit loosely in the filter mounting wholes. I contacted the manufacturer's customer service to ask about the screw size. They said I had the correct size which I disagreed with. I purchased 4 slightly larger screws which fit snugly in the mounting holes.

With the four screws provided. They mount on the top of the filter head unit the cut out in the mount plate makes room for the red pressure release button. Then the body screws into the head unit

Hi, the mounting bracket attaches to the wall with the side that has only the 4 holes in it. The housing attaches to the bracket with four bolts into the top of the filter unit on the side with the four holes and the two cut outs for the top of the water line fittings. If you look at the picture of the filter you can see the 4 spots formed in the plastic top where the bolts would connect. Hope this helps Vickie Roop Jonas Martin Well Drilling, Co
