The perfect solution for Zone Control of heating applications. The Argo AZ Zone valve controls have the transformer to power Thermostats and relays to control both Zone Valves and pumps. The CP version also has an extra relay to control a 2nd zone pump or priority zone valve.
Application Flexibility
- Four (AZ-4CP) or six (AZ-6CP) zone valve controller with priority
- Switchable priority (ON/OFF)
- Priority zone is field configurable for use with either circulator or zone valve
- Controls three or four wire 24v zone valves
Installation and Service Features
- Front window with clearly visible LED diagnostic lights showing zones calling and those satisfied
- Design is compatible with all types of thermostats, and ensures that relays energize with power robbing thermostats
- Auto reset fuse prevents service calls
- Expandable to 10 zones with Priority utilizing two AZ Controls Clearly marked terminal for easy and accurate installation
- Five year limited warranty, 100% factory tested
- Ideal for Indirect Hot Water Applications
- Choice of circulator or zone valve for priority
- Optimum performance with circulator priority, increasing hot water flow up to 20%

HAD to buy this product again
My same exact zone panel burnt out after 4 years, so to save money I bought the Taco ZVC 404-4. Big mistake. I asked Taco and the tech help at SupplyHouse if the ZVC would work in my situation. It did not. All I needed was ZC/ZR terminals to let my Beckett AS know when the panel was calling for heat and shut circuit off when priority was calling for heat. We couldn't get it to work. Talked to Argo, Very little help there (they won't talk to you if you're a homeowner) even though I'm an ex heating guy. Taco was better, talked to them multiple times but still no success. We got the circ to shut down when priority CFH, (my indirect wh) but Beckett AS did not recognize the panels CFH. The people who helped the most were the Techs at Beckett even though ultimately they could not solve prob. I explained what happened to SupplyHouse and they let me return the Taco and spend a lot more money and get the Argo. Not happy that the first Argo burnt out so soon. Taco admitted to save money they went bare bones on the ZVC, i.e. no ZC/ZR, no line terminal block, etc

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffNo, this controller is designed to operate zone valves. ARM4P should be used for control of 4 circulator pumps. https://www.supplyhouse.com/Argo-ARM4P-4-Zone-Expandable-Switch

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffAccording to the manufacturer, the AZ-4CP control is compatible with two-wire zone valves and actuators. As a result, it would work with Rifeng MA-ACT actuators.
