Description

The i-Link Series Zone Valve Controls simplify the field wiring and yet control up to six zone valves in a multi-zone hydronic heating system. The contractor friendly Printed Circuit Board eliminates the problem caused by incorrect wiring and saves hours of installation time. There would be no more messy look of conventional zone valve installations.

Intelligent Linking System (i-Link) allows unlimited zone expansion with additional i-Link controllers. Field selectable priority with Priority Protection Timer ensures other zones get heat every one hour and prevents freeze-ups in the event of a priority zone failure. The End Switch delay timer let the two wire type zone valves fully opened before turning on the circulator. The panel provides EZ screwless terminal blocks for connections to the thermostats and zone valves. In addition, LED indicators on the front panel provide functional status and easy troubleshooting.

From design to manufacture, each i-Link unit is built on the foundations of quality and reliability. Azel products are quality controlled in order to achieve ?total customer satisfaction? - a foundation that you can rely on.

It's OK but...

I bought this product because it was a less expensive than other zone controls. The reason for that is that it doesn't have a transformer which I didn't realize until i received it. I ended up using it to replace a defective Uponor control module which also doesn't have a transformer, so it was a good fit. However, the wire connections are push fit so you can't connect the multi=strand wire that comes with Uponor valve actuators. I had to tie regular solid thermostat wire to the multi-strand wire to make the connection to the box. Even then, the connection didn't seem solid. There are some nice features like an end switch delay timer, which is good because valve actuators take a long time to open. Also, instead of jumping the end switch with a wire, you can just flick a dip switch at the top of the box. But, unlike most control boxes, these do not turn on a pump: they just control the zone valves and send the signal to the boiler to fire.

Great product. Had this installed 5 years now.

I have two of these for seven zones total. Great product very easy and neat install. Replaced Taco units that burned out twice due to power surges. This unit is great. Zone led lights are easy to see. 5 years and not affected by power surges to date.

Well put together unit

I bought this because I never saw it before and the price made me try it. I installed in my own home to test it out, so far so good , installed easily and does the job. Should issues arise I will update.
