I have a household solar hot water heater, which supplements the electric water heater for household hot water. The system uses two of these circulator pumps...one for the glycol and the other for the water. After about 12-14 years' continual service, the water circulator started making noise. This is the exact pump, a direct bolt-in replacement, and the wiring was black wire to black wire, white to white. Have not yet taken the old pump apart to see what went south. Hoping this pump will still be made, years from now if the need arises again.

After 6 circulating pumps in 10 years at a cost of $225 each, I finally switched to a different brand. I assumed Bell &Gossett was a good brand...obviously I was mistaken.
