Aquastat control is designed to thermostatically turn any B&G NBF circulator ON and OFF. The AQ-1/2 will switch the pump OFF at 120ºF (48.9ºC) and ON at 100ºF (37.8ºC).
The aquastat will sense the temperature for 1/2” copper pipe.

I wish it was adjustable.
I like to keep my thermostat set lower to save money on utility bills, but because my recirculating path is such a long run, the pipe never reaches 120 degrees unless the water exits the tank at 130 degrees or more. I wish I could adjust the thermostat so it shuts off at a lower temperature.
