We are using it to hold some high pressure water pipes in place and they have made a big difference in the performance of the unit and helping to extend the life of the piping.

I would not buy this product again
If you dont put them on prior to installing the pipe you cant get them on without breaking them and if you put them on before hand once you tighten them you can still move the pipe fairly easy! Terrible design!

The plastic fitting is hard and bridal evetime you try to install them they break. You literally have to warm them up to make it work.

Every time we try to put a clamp over the pipe the plastic breaks. I guess you get what you pay for these things are cheap.

The cushion is too stiff. You cannot get it around a pipe unless you physically put the pipe through the opening.

Not a bad product but on the needs small tweaks to work
Just installing some 1/2" SS tubing. The cushions are a little brittle, and we have had to shave some of the catch off the holder to set them in. Otherwise it works great.

Plastic clips are very stiff
Opening the "cushion" block is difficult and requires two hands. Warming them up in hot water helped. Thankfully I only had twenty to install. Fingers still hurt two days later. Otherwise they are good.

Need to know details
Can't spread the insulator apart to get over tubing. Have to slide on before you terminate. I had already terminated. Tried to spread it apart and it broke/split in two.
Q: What size clamp would I need for 3/4" type L copper pipe? Thank you.

Hi Fraz. 3/4" copper pipe has an OD of 7/8", so you'll want to go with SKU: GVSC078OD - https://www.supplyhouse.com/Bluefin-GVSC078OD-7-8-OD-Electro-Galvanized-Strut-Cushion-Clamp
