Nothing compares to push-to-connect fittings, especially in tight spaces where one cannot maneuver a power tool or where soldering is difficult or dangerous... and then, of course, one can connect them to copper or pex, so transitions are from rigid supply lines to flex lines are made easy for mobility of a sink cabinet during installation, for example. The 1/4"-turn on/off valve option too is always a great choice for such plumbing applications, so that one is not vexed by corroded/stuck valves that require endless turning, resulting betimes in either smashed knuckles or the unintended severance of the valve handle itself.

Something wrong with the plastic handle
I first want to say the people at SupplyHouse.com were very quick to send replacements but even the replacements were bad, but they sent more. I have purchased lots of this same brand in an angled stop without problems but the plastic that the handles on the straight stops is inferior and very brittle. The manufacturer needs to figure out the problem and fix it, it's definitely not the suppliers fault. 5 starts for the effort to make this right. At this date 10-6-23 I would not buy these again. Give the manufacturer time and I'm sure they'll be as good as their other shut offs.

Defective Handles that break
I bought 2 of these back in 2022 for a customer. Sadly I went to turn it off and on a few days ago for this same customer and the handle snapped off. I had to remove them (which isn't as easy as you'd think) and solder on some real valves. This valve is an embarrassment! Why are these even sold?

Lower quality than SharkBite fittings, waste of money!
I bought 4 of these Bluefin straight stop valves and the plastic on-off handles easily broke on two of them. I recommend spending the $2-$3 more for the SharkBite fittings!

I will not purchase again
Purchased 2 of these. Installed 1 and the handle broke the 1st time I turned it off. Tried to swap the handle from the 2nd but it was already cracked. Try a different brand.

Easy to use and fast install.
For me, the time saving and ease of the push on valve is the main reason I choose them. Not having to worry if the compression ferrel is going to seal properly and double or triple checking, and not getting a call back is exactly what I want in a product.

All plastic valve- only time will tell
I should have guessed that this valve was all plastic. It feels like a toy. I am disappointed but not surprised. As a plumber, I normally use solder valves but this was used as a convenience during a flood remodel for a customer. After properly reaming the copper, I had no leaks despite taking it on and off multiple times.

Great product
They were easy to install and worked perfectly as expected. I will definitely use them again. I will also definitely order from supplyhouse .com again, they were very prompt with the order and received what i ordered. Keep up the good work, it's much appreciated. Thanks Jerry
Yes, they work exactly like sharkbite fittings; just a different manufacturer.
