So these are 1/3 of the price of other propex 3/4" ball valves. They are obviously not as heavy or solid as Dahl or Uponor valves, but they get the job done and for the price there is absolutely nothing to complain about. One thing that really impressed me is that they came with little plastic caps over the ends to protect the propex adapter shank, which is a really nice touch, because they can get nicked very easily which compromises the seal. The light weight of these valves makes me a little uneasy, hopefully the zinc content is low enough that dezincification won't happen. With all the lawsuits and horror stories out there from dezincified brass pex fittings it's something to think about. But for the low price I think I'll take the risk. However, if supplyhouse could find out from Bluefin what the zinc content in these fittings is (should be less than 15% to be safe) that would help put my mind at ease. Overall though, well worth the price and I will be buying again.
