Exactly what I needed.
My municipal water supply seems to occasionally have a lot of rust debris, especially when a local water main is worked on. This clogs my facets and causes extreme wear on the water valves. I expect this strainer to take care of these problems. I used many Y strainers where I used to work to prevent exactly the same problems. I also appreciated the fast delivery considering the extreme weather along the East Coast when I ordered.

Small orifice, will create a flow restriction .
I was disappointed to see passageway choked down to a much smaller that full port. It looked like 5/8"to 3/4". After paying so much money and attention to have the best possible flow rate very aggravating.
Supplyhouse.com does great with prices and delivery but I was stuck on a weekend and even on a weekday, it's a two day delay.
I haven't actually looked down the bore of more expensive strainers.
