Hose Bibb Mounting Plate 7610 Atlanta Special Products Hose Repair and Parts
I used stainless deck screws in the slots, seems to hold it firmly in place Sent from my iPad
I use construction adhesive and spray foam to keep them sealed and keep them from turning. There's also the indents on the side where you could screw them in, but I find that's harder to do on brick. Brian
Look on each side of the handle, you will see 2 area to put screw in. Job done.
I have installed several of these with no issues at all by just using the two screw holes provide on either side of the flange which presses against the wall. Sent from my iPhone
This sillcock uses a crimp connection to adapt to 1/2" PEX. For ProPEX expansion connections, we recommend parts 209010 and Q4360500.
This sillcock has a 1/2" PEX crimp connection. It cannot function as a ProPEX expansion fitting.
I would not use a combination of the two systems. If you look carefully, propex has a different configuration of barbs vs. a standard pex fitting. You could order a standard silcock (1/2" threads and Sweat) with a threaded on propex fitting to make the connection. I am always cautious when mixing proprietary technology due to UL listings and such.
This PEX sillcock may be used with the stainless steel clamping system or the copper crimp ring system. This particular sillcock can't be used with the Pro Pex fittings.
These sort of products with PEX fittings generally use the standard copper-ring crimp fitting. The Uponor tubing can still be used with ProPex fittings, but you'll need a copper crimp ring for the attachment to this and other typical products with PEX fittings. (Uponor PEX tubing is compatible with both.)
Yes, they are replaceable and usually take standard faucet washers.
No. And one of mine broke already. I will have to get a new one all together.
Yes they do. You can service them just like any frost free sillcock. The only difference is it has a pex connector on the end as opposed to a copper connector.
I havent had to replace one as of yet. But they do work perfectly Sent from my Verizon Wireless Droid
The diameter is 7/8" for 10" model.
All you will need is a 1/2" crimp ring or 1/2" clamp ring.
Nope, it comes with the PEX 1/2" end you just crimp the tubing to.
Anti-syphon sillcocks are designed to prevent two situations from occurring: the freezing of pipes in cold weather and the siphoning of contaminated water back into the drinking water supply.
The flange is about 2 1/2" long and 1 1/2" wide at the longest points. The distance between the mounting holes is between 2 1/4"- 2 1/2."
Depending on the size of tubing you are working with, it will vary. For example, 1/2" tubing will have 0.475" inside diameter and 0.625" outside diameter. This information can also be found in the comparison guide, on the page where our PEX tubing is located. The sillcock is 8 1/4" from collar back to the PEX connection.
