we had this order in before deadline. this material is for a HVAC technician. we informed him he would have this the following day. he could have went to john stone and picked this up but our price was better and his office is only 10 minutes from our location.
the material never shipped on Thursday, and did not ship till Friday. my customer was furious. we explained the material got mis sorted by ups and he would have it Monday.
he excepted our explanation but was not happy. if we would have received an e-mail or phone call letting us know this situation happened we could have headed this off. when we received our ups shipments, is when we discovered the material was not here and that is when we called supply house to find out why this order did not ship. communication is 90 % of the battle. we could have headed this off with a phone call and explanation if we were informed.
customer is dealing with the situation but we made him look bad with his customer
