Liquid Propane Pilot Assembly, 17/26 Honeywell, 415-47846-05

My propane hot water heater pilot light would fail and the frequency that this was occurring was increasing. After talking with three local dealers I could not get a good answer. I was pretty sure the problem was with the pilot circuit and not the fuel supply but I did not know if I could replace just the pilot assembly. Supply House has a Tech. Support line and he agreed with the diagnosis and said I should replace just the pilot assembly instead of the whole Burner assembly as I was thinking of doing. That saved me about $80. I installed the new pilot assembly and all was good; no more cold showers. :) I also ordered a new gasket kit but the original was in good condition so I did not replace it. The parts ordering lady was also of great help. She went the extra mile to make sure I had the correct part number and how I could get it quickly since it was the 4th of July Holiday weekend. Supply House works for me.

I returned both items I purchased from here and only received a refund on one. Still waiting on my other refund and do not know why it has not came when both items were returned at the same time.
