Worked great on STEAM valves Stem Packing
Product is enough for about 3 valves. First one will probably be most difficult until you figure out cut length and how to hold it together while you spin down the nut.

beats the PTFE
way better then the PTFE, that squeezes through the gap between the stem and compression nut.
