Excellent bathroom fans
These fans are awesome. Quiet and work great in getting steam out of the bathrooms. They were packed so well, nothing could have penetrated the box that they came in. I recommend this company for any of your heating, plumbing needs...in this case, bathroom fans.

nice product for the money
Exhaust fan was installed in a recent bathroom remodel. Installer was familar with product so went in quickly. Was so quiet didn't realize it was running at first trial operation. Light is very bright. Seems to be well made and nice in appearence. Can't comment on venting ability because bathroom isn't finished yet, but expect it will meet my needs. Would buy again.

Quiet and Effective
We were told that you get what you pay for regarding exhaust fans. We have a cheap exhaust fan in our bathroom basement. It is loud and not very effective. We got this Broan fan for our main bathroom. This one is much more quiet. Unless one in in the bathroom, one cannot tell that the fan is on. When we are done taking showers, the steam is gone and the mirror is not even steamed. If we ever need another exhaust fan, we will definately look at this one again.

Q: Can this product be installed directly above the shower stall or does it need to be installed in another part of the bathroom?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThis unit can be installed directly above a shower stall, but code requires a GFI (ground fault interrupter) circuit for such installations. Note that above-shower installation is not permitted with fans that have heaters.

Ours is installed about a foot and a half away from the shower-in the center of the bathroom, but it seems to me, in my unprofessional opinion, that it would work over the shower. The best thing might be to call the Broan company and ask them just to be sure.
