Using your boiler as a heat source means that the recovery rate of Alliance LT models is superior to that of standard direct-fired or electric water heaters. In addition to efficiency, the Alliance LT is also designed for simplicity. All connections are easily accessible at the top of the tank, where the heat exchanger is mounted. By mounting the heat exchanger here, it may be serviced without draining the tank. Easy to install, easy to service, and energy efficient, the AL80LT is the perfect water heating solution for any application.

Great Tank and Reliable so far
I have had this tank for 3 years now and it was the best upgrade I have done for our house. We went from an on demand coil in our boiler to this. Item shipped fast and installed easily. No leaks or trouble so far.

Terrible!!! Stay away!!! Run run run
I bought this tank just over a year ago and it developed a leak. Through a lot of phone calls and hassle we did get a new tank under warranty. They plumber hooked it up and it took is leaking right out of the box. Now I don't have hot water in the house and I am on a huge jam. I can't wait for another freight shipment and hassle of warranty replacement. Now going t ocost me over $3500 to replace.

Good value for the money
Fairly easy to install even though the labeling of the piping is a little ambiguous. I like the tank, but I replaced the cheap plastic drain it comes with. Everything else seems ok, the control is a standard 10k resistor so it just tied directly to my boiler without needing to run 24 volts.
