Manufactured from PVC or PPO thermoplastic molding compound and featuring foam-in-place gasketed lids attached with stainless steel screws, these rugged enclosures offer all the corrosion resistance and physical properties you need for direct burial applications.
Type 6P enclosures are intended for indoor or outdoor use, primarily to provide a degree of protection against contact with enclosed equipment, falling dirt, hose-directed water, entry of water during prolonged submersion at a limited depth and external ice formation.

Wrong one shipped
The initial one shipped was the incorrect orientation. I notified them online and no questions asked, they shipped the correct fitting overnight and I didn't have to return the incorrect fitting. Great example of excellent customer service.

They actually fulfilled the order with the right size !!!
While this is an odd size piece that cant be found in local home improvement stores, I thought it would be easy to order online. Two previous attempts with other companies, stated they would sell this size. Instead of 1-1/2" being delivered, I got a too small 1/2" piece. Absolutely, useless.
This company actually sells the size it says it would. Beware of other companies.
