Perfect Replacement
Bought this as a replacement fan motor for a new Dayton 480v 30kW unit heater. Grainger will not (currently) sell replacement motors for this heater because the failure rate is so high, and actually refunded the cost of the entire heater because of the failed motor. With a couple of modifications, this 2 speed reversable motor was the perfect replacement. I had to shorten the shaft, and because the motor is stud mounted I had to swap the thrubolts with the old motor because they were longer. The hex hubs on both ends made the motor slightly longer than the old one, making it a little difficult to maneuver into the heater, but not too bad.
