Quality control NON-EXISTENT
The motor works ... but after installation into a Modine steam heater I found the air blowing me in the face as I worked from behind the unit!! Right out of the box, it was rotating OPPOSITE the arrow direction on the label! On 115V, no combination of the extra wires, nor swapping hot & neutral, would reverse direction. Since we were under the gun with cold weather here, the only solution was to disassemble and reverse the stator 180*. Glad we went that route, since each bushing inside was bone dry. Added a thin film of grease to help it survive. Probably not going to get 30 years out of this one like the one it replaced. So far it's working and now blowing in the correct direction. Par for the 21st century course!!
