Nice cover that will not rust or require painting. My metal baseboard covers in the bathrooms seem to get rusty within about 10 years and once they rust it hard to get paint to stay on them. These plastics covers are easy to install and look great and actually think they allow more heat to rise up from the base board. My only complaint is the end cap go to the floor on the sides but not on the front. Looking at the baseboard from across the room you can see the riser pipes. The metal covers went to the floor in the front covering the riser pipes.

These covers are the best option for XL size covers. However, they should put a pre-drilled alignment hole where the top flat piece is screws into the wall through the bracket. The price is on the high side, but much lower than most of the competition.

I installed this radiator cover in my bathroom, as the original cover was rusted and had been poorly repainted several times. I assume most of these expensive plastic covers are sold to people with the same issue. It isn't apparent in the product description, but this easily installs in an area where both ends are captive. Mine runs between a wall and a bathtub. My radiator ends about 8" before the tub, but these easily cover any dead space. The most difficult part of the installation was removing the old cover. Mine did not come off nearly as easily as depicted in the videos because it was made differently. Furthering the difficulty was the vicinity of the toilet to the radiator. The next most difficult part was screwing the brackets to the wall. My wall is tile, even behind the radiator. I drilled holes with a quality masonry bit and some of the included screws grabbed. In the one place the screws didn't bite, I used tapcon concrete screws because installing plastic anchors would be a difficult process in the tight quarters around the toilet. After those two parts are out of the way things get much easier. The instructions don't tell you how long to cut things, but it becomes apparent when you get started. The upper back wall panel needs to be cut just short enough for the end caps to slip on. I cut the back panel the exact length of the space between my tub and wall and that did not leave room for the end caps to slip in, so I trimmed a small amount off the panel with tin snips and tried again until they had just enough room. After the end caps are fitted, you need to measure the distance between them and cut the front cover to fit. This does not need to be a tight measurement because the snap caps cover up about 3/4" of the ends of the front cover. I cut mine about 3/8" short of the total distance and it fit great. Overall, this cover is well worth the money and looks much better than the only other plastic radiator covers I could find on the market.

Logically you would expect to pay LESS for PVC than a metal product, which is not the case here. That said, the end product after install looks great, and it couldn't be simpler or easier to install. I'm certainly it will be easier to maintain and stay in better shape for much longer. So, if the price were a little more reasonable (currently approximately 2.5-3x the cost of metal fin baseboard covers), I would give it that fifth star in a heartbeat.
