These vibration pads worked exactly as intended. They're easy to cut and make into smaller vibration pads if needed. Don't open the box until you plan on using them because it will make the room smell like a tire shop.

Isolation for AC unit

I was using these pads to control vibration and noise. They were easily cut with an utility knife. I used them for spacing in the laundry area, and under the air compressor in the garage. (my neighbors still hate me) It has been a month and there are still off gasing. Not for a sensitive nose when used indoors.

I put this pad underneath my 1.5 cu ft. top-loading portable washing machine, and it does reduce vibration. It doesn't completely get rid of the vibration felt in the floor, but reduces it to the point that I'm no longer worried about disturbing my neighbors when I use my washing machine. It works especially well during the spin cycle, perhaps due to the frequency/amplitude of the vibration (it works less well for the vibration from the drain pump.) I would recommend this for any washing machine. The only negative comment I have is that the pad smells bad for the first week - after that, the rubber smell goes away.
