EVA (Extreme Vibration Attenuation) is the latest generation in vibration dampening technology. In the most severe vibration extremes, testing shows the EVA pad outperforms cork and rubber by greater than 3:1 and outperforms competitor's "waffle" pad by greater than 8:1! The enhanced performance comes from the special composite foam center which is structurally more sound than cork. EVA is not affected by oils or chemicals that can break down cork and is much more effective at vibration dampening than solid rubber. Designed to withstand 50 psi. Choose EVA to get the best of both worlds!

Works great at damping vibration
I use them under high fidelity equipment to damp vibrations (phono pre amp, sub woofer).
You can't beat the price, high end audio stores sell the cork version for over $15 a piece.

May Not Be The Appropriate Product for Use
I purchased these vibration pads to place under a Residential AC Compressor on my roof to minimize the vibration noise in the room below. However, these vibration pads may not be the correct product for this use. I am currently using 8 of these pads on the underside of the compressor and the vibration intensity only went down a few percentage points. So, it is best to always consider the application of the product you are looking to purchase. Not sure if they are too small in surface area and a larger vibration pad might work better?
Overall, the product is well built and they do not compress as I thought they might when I purchased them.

Works great for audio equipment!
I bought to put under my audio equipment. Amplifier, preamplifier and cd players. Works great and not near the cost of "boutique " audio vibration dampers. Highly recommend these. Can't beat the price and performance!

Excellent decoupling for home audio
I put one pad under each corner of my turntable stand and under my subwoofer to minimize vibration. It completely removes and feedback and you can walk past the stereo now and the records don't skip from footsteps.

Successfully reduced vibrations from passing trains
I placed these under the feet of my bed, which sits on a hardwood floor in a home next to train tracks. The vibrations of passing trains used to interfere with my sleep, but these made a huge difference! Very happy.

Not sure about the low temps Allen but have used them in Florida up to the high temps for two years with no deterioration. But lows have only been down to 40. Kent

Here in Arizona it often is well above 100 degrees in summer, but only reaches a low of +15 or 20 in winter. These pads on 2 AC units have done a great job of reducing noise due to vibration, and I highly recommend them. We used 4 pads for each AC unit, to lift each unit just off its foundation.
