E.V.A. Anti-Vibration Pad, 2" x 2" x 7/8"

I'm using the E.V.A. Pads for vibration damping at the very base of my audio components, loudspeakers & sub- woofer along with other vibration damping such as my d.i.y. lateral ball bearing isolation units, compression springs, tire tubes, maple slabs & masonry blocks.

Placed the Bluefin anti-vibration pads under both my washer and dryer. Good news: much less coupling of vibrations to the ground which means quieter operation. The bad: they smell worse than other similar pads, the glue used is already losing its tackiness and the layers can be pulled apart by hand, the blue E.V.A. looks to be stained with oil, and the rubber is extremely cheap and looks to be made from recycled tires that still have steel belt shards sticking out of them. I found out the hard way how pokey those steel fibers are. I considered returning the pads, but the "Easy online returns" for SupplyHouse does not recognize my order number (my order was placed less than a week ago), so into the rubbish bin go my extra pads.
