Direct-drive upblast ventilators are designed for continuous operation to exhaust foul air, smoke, fumes, odors and grease-laden vapors from range hoods and commercial cooking appliances. Ventilators are designed for installation in industrial, institutional and commercial kitchen applications. All models are equipped with a backward inclined aluminum fan wheel and a speed
controllable motor.

- Externally cooled motor compartment

- Designed to continually exhaust foul air, smoke, fumes, odors and grease-laden vapors from range hoods and commercial cooking appliances
- Junction box mounted in externally cooled motor compartment
- Fully rolled windband bead for added strength and stability
- Welded curb corners eliminate water entry into ducts or building
- Units are speed controllable when wired 115V only (speed controller optional)

Does what it is supposed to do
Build a new house and wanted a range hood better than my last home (500 cfm). It just couldn't keep up with the gas stove BTU output. Got a range hood with a 10" duct and 5ddu10aa fan . Now all the heat is exhausted outside. I couldn't be happier.

Shipping Carriers Suck
The fan was good, just what I needed for my customer. However, ALL shipping carriers SUCK at shipping these. They will beat the crap out of these, always. Luckily, the damaged to this last one wasn't terrible, but there was still damage. It's a crap shoot to send it back and take a chance on the next one being worse.

SPECS FROM FACTORY NOT CORRECT
Don't rely on factory specs for performance, the fan does not put out the stated cfm. Took it out after 2 hours and returned to supply house. Supply House stood by the product as usual and returned it. That was the best thing I did was buy from Supply House. They never let me down on any purchase.

Fainted upstart fan
Fan was delivered in 3 days and works great with an affordable price....my only complaint is UPS guys always ding the aluminium bowl even though it has a fragile sticker...needs better packing..
