DIYer Beware
Everyone knows that white is neutral, and black is hot. Well, for some strange reason, this company decided to put a black and a white wire on this switch. So, this diyer, who was in a hurry and not thinking, connected black to black to black and white to white to white, turned on the power and bang, the switch blew up. Had they had 2 black wires it would've triggered my knowing it had to go inline. Lesson learned. So, how quickly can you get me another switch? Ugh I'd recommend it to a friend with a heads up on this. And don't tell me it's stated in the directions, those, if any, got tossed with the box. Just put 2 black wires please.
