Note: This part does not include a heat recovery system which is necessary for certain ventilation uses.
An Air Exchanger Ventilator (AEV) is designed to provide fresh air into a building while exhausting an equal amount of stale air. During the winter months, the incoming cold fresh air is warmed by mixing it with return air before it is supplied to the home. During summer months when the indoor space is air conditioned, the AEV will help in cooling the incoming fresh air with the stale air that is being exhausted.
Fantech AEV's are designed to run continuous or on intermittent, giving the homeowner complete control over their air quality. Continuous low speed ventilation is recommended, which will help eliminate carbon dioxide, VOCs and other gases as well as freshen up the home. Intermittent high speed ventilation can be obtained through a variety of optional remote controls.

Great Product works well
Installed this in a 900 square foot garage where I keep some vintage cars. Garage use to fill up with old car fumes so I install this system. Easy to install. Was a little concern because unit was just basically a box with a fan in it, but to my surprise when I returned after installing it I notice that the air is much fresher. Also I notice that the humidity and temperature never really changed even when it was cold or raining outside. Kept the garage at a comfortable fresh smell. Better to work in the garage when weather won't let me open the doors.

This one does not have heat recovery!
I read a bunch of descriptions and found this product in the middle of all the reading. It was the best priced. In the description there was one sentence that said "mixes stale air with fresh air to pre warm the fresh air" (I paraphrased there, not an actual quote) since all the others had heat recovery, I saw this as a typo. My bad. When the box showed up at my house it clearly says "W/O HEAT RECOVERY" on the printed label. I returned it because I needed heat recovery. In my opinion the advertisement and reading did not make it obvious that heat recovery was absent from this model. So I can't review the product. But I'm trying to save someone else the return shipping cost if they think they're buying an air changer with heat recovery, this one does not have it. Customer service was fast and easy to deal with once I found out my mistake!

I would buy this product again due to very good pricing.
I use this unit as an axially piece of equipment to enhance HVAC climate control of humify and heat recovery.
