Fantech's REC Series direct drive centrifugal fans provide an excellent solution for residential or commercial ventilation applications where the fan must be mounted on the exterior of the building. REC models come with a flanged base for curb mounting.
With 100% speed controllablity, these multi-purpose fans can be used to move air from one or more venting points. Interior noise is not an issue because the fan motor is located outside the building envelope.

SupplyHouse.com was a "Lifesaver."
A local supplier had told my electrician that this model roof-mounted exhaust fan was no longer available. Fortunately, I decided to do my own web search because the fan I needed to replace had been installed 17 years ago and using another brand or product might have had different dimensions, requiring structural modifications and considerable cost. I found the exact model I needed at SupplyHouse. The replacement was quick and inexpensive and I have every reason to believe that this fan, like the original one, will last a long time. The quality of its construction appears to be an improvement over the old fan, though the model number has not changed.
