Fantech's REC Series direct drive centrifugal fans provide an excellent solution for residential or commercial ventilation applications where the fan must be mounted on the exterior of the building. REC models come with a flanged base for curb mounting.
With 100% speed controllablity, these multi-purpose fans can be used to move air from one or more venting points. Interior noise is not an issue because the fan motor is located outside the building envelope.

Excellent product
I have a Viking vent hood in my kitchen and after 23 years its roof mounted exhaust conked off. I did a google search and found this roof mount centrifugal fan at Supplyhouse.com. Not only that the price was reasonable (shipping was free too), the product is outstanding. Great finish, smooth functioning, great air sucking ability and reasonable sound while in operation. Just Awesome ! I would definitely recommend this product for those looking to install new or replace existing exhaust systems.

Redesigned from previous style which should eliminate problems with occasional no start due to snow buildup. Now has a 10" vs 8" exit size.
