The fusible burner angle valves are used at Burner as secondary protection. They have a heavy duty high quality Brass design.

Fire-safety valve for oil burner isolation works nicely
This is the longest version of the burner fire-safety isolation valve that I could get, to make sure I cleared the oil pump and had room to turn the valve easily. I may have overshot for the convenience, and now can't get the furnace panel back on. I've decided I don't care and I like to see the oil burner anyways. I used pipe dope (not Teflon tape - clogs the nozzle later) and then copper pipe, not tubing, to support the filter just outside of the furnace.
